Canada's largest cable wakeboarding facility adds to summer excitement

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg's greatest outdoor adventure park, Adrenaline Adventures now features a world-class cable wakeboarding facility, a 5-storey tall ropes course with ziplines, a beach with volleyball courts, and a licensed clubhouse with waterside restaurant. Cable wakeboarding facilities will be open to the public beginning on July 1st. The high-ropes course began on June 25th.

AFN National Chief calls for immediate implementation of Jordan's Principle

WINNIPEG - Jordan River Anderson, a First Nation boy from Norway House Cree Nation in Manitoba, was 5 years old when he died. Born with a rare neuromuscular disorder, he needed constant medical care. He became the centre of a "it's your responsibility to take care of his medical bills" dispute, and subsequently died in hospital without receiving care in a family home.
